Watch: remove a euro cylinder in 60 seconds
- 1Open the door and find the screwLook at the thin edge of the door. The screw in line with the keyhole holds the cylinder in.
- 2Unscrew it fullyIt's usually a Phillips (cross-head) screw about 40mm long. Keep it safe.
- 3Turn the key slightly and pullPut the key in, turn it about 15° either way so the cam lines up with the body, and pull the cylinder out. Wiggle, don't force.
- 4Lay it on its side on white paperRound part on top, flat bar underneath, the little tab (cam) pointing at you. Rest a 10p flat ON the cylinder next to the tab. Camera straight down from about 40cm.
