What if there's no locksmith near me yet?

How much does a locksmith cost?

With Replace Your Lock the part and the fitting are priced separately and shown before you book: lockout entry from £69, a standard euro cylinder replaced from £79 including the cylinder, an anti-snap 3-star upgrade from £110, a uPVC door gearbox from £160. No call-out fee, and the price is confirmed before any work starts.

Are the locksmiths vetted?

Yes. Identity and public liability insurance are checked by Replace Your Lock before a locksmith is listed, prices are agreed before work starts, and reviews come only from customers who booked through us.

Can I do it myself instead?

Often, yes. A euro cylinder is one screw and ten minutes; our photo lock finder measures it and our guides show every step. Book a locksmith if you'd rather not, or if it's a mortice lock, a gearbox or a lockout.
